Introducing the

Commons - SF

Join us in building a first-of-its-kind nonprofit civic imagination hub for exploring worldshaping issues through art, science & community.

“A space like this is vital… it is in dialogue that we uncover our biases, it is in community that we expand our knowledge base, and it is in coming together in places like this that we help shape and secure the future of our society.”

Michelle Jacques, Event Attendee

We can’t do this without you.

By becoming a member of the Commons, you’re helping us change the way communities engage with social, scientific, and environmental issues.

The Commons is designed to be a vibrant space for you to explore big ideas and critical conversations. It’s also a way for members to help sustain The Plenary’s original artworks, fund our inquiry, and keep our public initiatives accessible to everyone.

Uplifting imagination & curiosity

The Commons is a space where you never have to wonder “where to start” again.

It’s hard to cut through the noise, beat information overload, and stay on top of the issues that matter. We’re building ways to make that a little easier. Introducing a new civic social lounge and changemaker collective that produces creative experiences for exploring worldshaping issues together.

The Commons

Our virtual Commons is a portal for our members to have access to exclusive digital content, activities, and gatherings designed to keep you inspired and informed.

The Clubhouse

We’ve signed our lease in an exciting emerging neighborhood in Dogpatch, San Francisco. Upon opening, our Bay Area members will have access to world class activations, art & science experiences, and open civic social lounge.
